NILES – Federal grants will help Niles McKinley High School offer a high-tech lunch system to students.
John Soltesz, chairman and chief executive officer of Zerco Systems International Inc., presented a biometric identification system to school board members Thursday. At first, the identification system will be used by high school students to buy lunches, Soltesz said, and later can be modified to be used as building swipe cards, parking passed and multitude of other uses.
