Marketing overview for Zerco's Secure Card Credentialing System

With circumstances leading to the Patriot Act and current issues on immigration control, corporations today have a responsibility to continuously evaluate and adopt the latest technologies and best practices that help to protect their assets and ensure safety for their employees.  Employers today are facing serious security problems related to

•    Identity theft & misuse of Social Security Numbers
•    Immigration reform & the hiring of illegal alien workers
•    Cyber-terrorism
•    Fraud
•    Corporate espionage
•    Criminal history  background check requirements
•    Regulatory Compliance with fed state regs: I-9, HIPPA, SOX , FCRA and others

These threats are real and can cost organizations hefty fines, valuable assets and harm reputation. Best practice workforce credentialing begins with proper employment eligibility, identity verification and pre-employment background screening. A company issued ID card that offers merged access to corporate facilities, computer networks, assets and co-workers can only be given to trusted employees that have been properly vetted.

Many entities are struggling to keep up with the latest employee background screening and security technologies and often have just a few stand alone “pieces of the puzzle”.

Additionally biometrics (Fingerprint Identification and Facial Identification) are rapidly taking an active roll in pre-employment background checks and for use in positive identification for Government issued travel and national identification documents.

Zerco has combined our state of the art next generation Secure Card Credentialing System with the necessary “best practice methodologies” meeting both US and International standards necessary to address the above challenging issues. Our credentialing solution provides the necessary security steps and procedures required prior to issuing a corporate or government ID card credential.

Employers with existing ID Badging solutions purchased within the last 5-7 years are very basic and typically do not provide for any level of security or next generation smart card support. Older ID card production systems do not provide support for the latest changes in Physical Access Control and Logical access control such as 13.56 MHz RFID Contactless, ISO 7816 Smart Card or Biometric technologies. These older ID card systems are all targets for upgrades or replacement.

New generation ID Card credentialing systems are now taking on a more intimate roll of collecting the necessary demographic and biometric data needed to ensure the proper enrollment of a new hire or employee into an ID card management systems databases. As a result the ID Credentialing process needs to be more integrated to the enterprise new hire on-boarding process.

Zerco has anticipated these needs and have designed our latest software and hardware systems to provide a one stop single point of data entry that standardizes and streamlines several key processes in the new employee hiring process and for employee badging, while providing a “trusted employee database” for interoperability and integration to corporate security systems.

Many biometric enabling companies have failed to capture customers and achieve growth because they have introduced only a single biometric component or biometric capture device that is just a small part of an overall solution. We have learned long ago that end users of such systems do not have the internal IT staff, time or experience to build their own solutions for integrating biometrics into the corporate environment.

Zerco’s new SCCS is a turn key standards based biometric registration system that provides multiple pieces of the technology puzzle simplifying the integration of biometrics into multiple sub systems. Zerco provides next generation card technology that is available today. SCCS is backwards and future compatible with corporate HR, IT and Security needs.

The need for secure ID badging touches employers across all business sectors and industries. Wherever there is a workforce, there exists a potential to sell or upgrade customers to Zerco’s SCCS.
